gelato van alert!

help! i was driving east on olympic, and stopped at crescent heights, when a "bene bene gelato" ice cream van drove past. !! it looked just like my neighbourhood truck only new, white with orange-yellow stripes, with a youngish driver wearing a yellow and white polo shirt that matched the truck. if i wasn't in the center lane, i would have followed it. does anyone know what this is and where it goes? is it just a prop for a movie? as much as i love my local ice cream van, i'd like to see this in my neighbourhood as well.
