ergh, i'll admit it, i'm a closeted "gilmore girls" fan (actually, not closeted, just no one i know actually cares). so i'm just simply thrilled, honey, to find out that one of my most favourite songs evar, "inside out", from one of my most favourite bands evar, the mighty lemon drops (of which dave newton, one of my most favourite people evar, was the guitarist) shows up in tomorrow's series finale. is there such thing as a music spoiler? because it comes at a most appropriate scene, given the lyrics of the song. which are weirdly not online. oh well. go to itunes, buy the single :)
gilmore girls series finale, tuesday, may 15th, 8pm US pst on the CW network

[girlmode] eeee, i haven't seen the scene (obvs) but heard about it--'tis the perfect lyrics for the moment, so watch for it [/girlmode]
one can always rely on santos for music recommendations... never watched gilmore girls, but thanks to you, i am now the proud owner of an album by a candy-named band...
zog, you bought the whole album? i feel mildly guilty in case you hate it, but dave will be very happy.
There's usually a delay in watching Gilmore Girls until the weekend but I watched the series finale last night.
I loved that scene and couldn't place the song until this morning. Was it the song that made the scene or did the scene make the song?
Viva Gilmore Girls!
hello darlene! i'm totally biased, but i'm convinced the song made the scene. it's just so buoyant and uplifting, it makes me happy and excited, so i naturally think L+L are as happy and excited as i want them to be. okay, enough of that. thank god logan's gone.
off the cuff, but where is hong kong mandarin oriental bakery? i want to try the apricot filled donut
wow, seriously off the cuff, but i've been thinking about it a lot lately. you're freaking me out! it's actually in hong kong. at the mandarin oriental hotel. i know, it sounds like the name of a hole in the wall bakery in the city, right? sorry. it's actually very upscale. and um, in asia.
argh... sucks... i was looking at your past post and you mentioned it but never left a review. now i know... haha
